The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
is mercies never come to an end;

they are new every morning;
great is Your faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:22-23

A Time I Delight to Find You

Golden light
Royal amber pressing through longest shadows
Visions of destiny
Golden light
Touches apple leaves
Gentle breeze kisses and whispers, “Wake up! It’s almost here!”

Day is coming
New mercies are tearing through’darkest before dawn’
Celebrating victory
Carrying hope and brilliance
You’re singing the song you began last night
Gentle lullabies that breathe peace and serenity

You’re here at sunrise

Rose-pink glows, lavender soaks, gray dissipates and reveals the hues of life as fresh light bursts up from mountain peaks and breaks upon the night

Nothing to stop it
Nothing can push back the dawn
Day will come – it must come
You desperately desire me to know Your spilling-over mercy for this day
I must see You here.
I must know You here.

Three colors new, but the shades and hues are infinite
Lavender: promise of love, fragrance of rest, reminder of royalty
Green: new life, another chance, fresh vision and hope
Gold: illuminates, rich beyond measure, future glory

To see from Your eyes is to see in this golden presence
All is new,
All has a chance,
All are your royal priesthood,
All hold the deep promise of Your love.
