Dear Grace: Words Said Again

Hi ladies!  This week our posts are reposts from last summer.

Our dear Megan Lowmaster wrote words of praise to our community of women here at Grace Chapel and we felt like it needed to be said again!

Please enjoy reading through Megan’s gracious words as we continue to encourage each other through this series.

One thing that I find amazing about Grace Chapel’s Women’s Community is encouragement. It took some prodding by a few of the women here to go to a women’s retreat or the women’s If: Table. I had a hard time at the church I went to before when I went to these events. I felt like an outsider at times. But what I experienced with the women at Grace was love, listening ears and overflow of grace and encouragement. “May the words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14

I felt that these women did care about what I was going through. There was no judgement and times of prayer. “She opens her mouth with wisdom; And the law of kindness is on her tongue.” Proverbs 31:26. I felt like I belonged in this group of women.

Another great thing I love about this group is that single women are part of the group. I teach Sunday school and to have mothers of my students tell me thank you for my hard work it means a lot to me. I love children and being able to use that love to nurture your children is an awesome ministry.   God gives each of us an area to minister and to be able to teach the future generation about Jesus and how to apply it to their own lives is one of the most important job God has asked me to do.

There is no way that I could say thank you to every single woman in the church I am grateful for all the prayers and listening ears. I feel like I am in a safe place and one that I can go to no matter what is happening in my life.

What do your words say?
